About KIWA

Founded in 2015 with a particular interest on stark issues affecting children, women, widows and persons with disabilities (PWDs) in Kisumu County, Kisumu West Aid Organization (KIWA) gained its legal registration stature in 2021 having successfully operated under the effective umbrella of Shabaa Community, Kisumu chapter . KIWA believes in a world where everyone is autonomously empowered a world where the deep seated barriers of health, poverty, education and exclusion can be broken, and where everyone has full control over the decisions affecting them. Defined and guided by our vision, mission and core values, we strive to make far reaching humanitarian impact and difference in everything we do. Our values shape our decisions, interactions, and culture, driving us closer to our vision of a better world.
